*Payment: All payments are accepted by credit card or through Paypal, unless otherwise discussed. Payment plans are available, half is required at time of purchase and remainder to be paid within 30 days.
*Refunds & Exchanges: Due to the delicacy of vintage fabrics, and since a detailed description and several measurements are given, all sales are final. Please insure that your body’s measurements are that with the gown you wish to purchase. NOTE: In the case that the gown is a larger size than your own, you can always get it altered by your local bridal seamstress, which is standard practice in the bridal industry, for that perfect fit.
*New Gown Updates: Love our stuff but still don’t seem to find just exactly what you’re looking for? Don’t worry. We typically add new vintage gowns about every month. If you’d like to be the first know when we post new gowns, “like” our DOS Facebook fan page. We always notify our brides here just as soon as they’re up!
-Policies Unique To Our Daughters Of Simone Collection Gowns -
*Sizing: All of our gowns are made-to-order, which means we do not begin constructing your dress until after you order it. Our gowns come in women’s US size S, M, L, XL. If you are unsure of your size please send us your measurements; waist, bust, hips, and length from the top of the shoulder on down to your toe (be sure to wear heels the height similarly to those you’ll be wearing on the big day while taking this measurement), and we happily will help you into which category will fit best for you. We highly recommend you take your measurements before ordering.

*Turn Around Time: All gowns take 12-15 weeks to create until they are shipped out. If you need a rush order ($150 fee for long gowns, $75 for short) please message us as soon as possible.
*Alterations: For that perfect we fit we recommend looking towards your local bridal seamstress to accommodate any minor alterations necessary (a basic Google search should turn up some possible options for you). We do not provide this service in-house.
*Refunds And Exchanges: Due to the specialization of made to order gowns all of our dresses are non-refundable/non-exchangeable. If you have any questions or would like to see additional photos of any of our gowns please message us, we would be happy to answer any questions that you may have and/or send you more photos.
*Shipping: All orders are sent USPS First Class Mail with a tracking code. If you would like a faster delivery method, message us and we will incorporate the difference to the total shipping cost. We ship INTERNATIONALLY by request. Just shoot us over a message with your mailing address and we’ll let you know how much shipping and handling will be. Please be aware that international shipping can take up to 15 days.
*International Orders: Your gown should arrive 1 to 3 weeks after we ship it. Please be patient! It’s on its way! After your order goes through customs and leaves the US we are no longer able to track it. You should receive a custom’s number via email once your order has been shipped. Use this number track down your package once it has been sent.
*Duties: Some countries may charge import duties or other random fees. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over this and it’s your responsibility to pay for any fees.
Cleaning and Care: We recommend that all of our brides have their gowns dry cleaned after their big day. After dry cleaning has been completed, do not hang your gown but rather make sure it’s preserved in a box, to resist fabric stretching over time.
*Payment Plans/ Brides On A Budget: We understand that pulling off the perfect wedding can really add up! In the case that any of our brides are unable to pay for a gown in-full right away, we allow for paying half the price up front in a non-refundable deposit, while the other half to be paid in 30 days from the original payment. Message us!
*Fittings: We’d love to have you and your girls over for a fitting out of our San Francisco, Lower Haight space. Please contact our fittings host, Ashley (firstname.lastname@example.org), to schedule in your appointment. Check out our events page for more info on where you can try on our gowns at a trunk show!
*Fabric Swatches: We’re sure buying a wedding gown online seems a bit tricky, let us send you a fabric swatch from your favorite gown(s) so you can feel + see the fabric for yourself! E-mail us at email@example.com with your mailing address and which gown(s) you’re interested in. We’ll have your swatch sent right out!
